Early Summer Championships 13 - 14 May 2023
The IOCA Early Summer Championships 2023 are being held at Derwent Reservoir Sailing Club Consett, County Durham on the 13 - 14 May 2023 is the second national event of 2023 and is an IOCA UK Rolling Ranking event. The reservoir provides a large sailing area in fine scenary.

Event Team
As with every event we need a number of parents to volunteer to help both on and off the water. Please a look at the Volunteer Sign Up sheet, select a role and sign up. If you are unsure what the roles involve please contact volunteers@optimist.org.uk
Safety Fleet
We also need parents to volunteer to assist as crews or helms of safety boats. If you are able to do this please compleet the RIB sign-up sheet

DRSC Campsite
There is a campsite for camping and motorhomes on the DRSC site. Campsite booking are make online.
The Galley will be open for breakfast and lunches on Saturday and Sunday. Payment preference is cash, there is a card machine but the btroadband connerction dips in and out.
The Club Bar will be open from 12.00 noon on Saturday and Sunday. Please note the Bar is cash only.
